Wear and/or failure of the spherical joints of the drop links (which are the connecting elements between the anti-roll bar and the shock absorber) results in noise while driving over uneven surfaces that resembles a distinct knocking; those used for replacement on the vehicle in question feature an improvement over the original ones: they are equipped with a grease nipple; keeping the spherical joint well lubricated certainly prevents wear; to perform the replacement, it is essentially a matter of unscrewing the locking nuts of the spherical joint pin while holding it during disassembly either with a ratchet or by inserting the hex key into the corresponding socket.
