Replacement of Wishbone Ball Joint

If the ball joint of the suspension wishbone fails, consider installing a reinforced type ball joint, equipped with a grease nipple to ensure constant lubrication and thus protect it from wear. To replace the ball joint, first remove the wishbone: lift the vehicle on a ramp or suitable axle stands, remove the wheel and the fixing pins of the suspension wishbone, then use a fork puller to extract the ball joint from the hub support. Once the wishbone is on the bench, remove the boot around the ball joint, detach the retaining circlip, and take off the old ball joint using a C-clamp and the corresponding bushings. Similarly, apply the new ball joint with a grease nipple and reinstall the wishbone in reverse order.
