Wishbone Ball Joint Replacement

To replace the ball joint connecting the suspension wishbone to the wheel hub, it is necessary to remove the entire wishbone. Lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift and remove the front wheel.

Remove the fixing bolt of the ball joint and extract it from its seat using a fork tool. Then, remove the other fixing bolts of the wishbone and take it out of its seat.

Secure the wishbone in a vice, remove any remaining rubber boot, and disengage the retaining circlip to extract the ball joint with a hammer. Then, insert the new ball joint into the same seat using a hammer (preferably use a press) and reposition the circlip.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
