Replacement of the gear knob and gear shift boot of the Hyundai I10.

Today's procedure will show us how to disassemble and replace the gear knob and gear lever gaiter of the Hyundai I10. First, we get inside the car and start unscrewing the gear knob in a counterclockwise direction to detach it from the lever; then we pry on the sides of the gaiter to detach and remove it as well, as shown in the video. At this point, we install the new gear lever gaiter and then the knob, screwing the latter in a clockwise direction; make sure that the knob and gaiter are properly fixed on the gear lever!
