How to Remove and Replace the Clock Bulbs

Model: Infiniti G - Years 2002-2007

Here’s how to do it if the clock does not light up when you switch on the headlights. Use a flat tool to pry around the dashboard section surrounding the clock, gently releasing it and disconnecting the electrical connector found at the back. Then, unscrew the screws holding the clock in place and disconnect the electrical connection. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the two screws that act as the bulb holder. Remove them and use a pointed tool to bend the wires to extract the bulbs. The bulbs, as you will notice, have a yellow cap that must obviously be removed. The replacement bulbs have two long wires that should first be inserted into the bulb holder, then twisted upwards and downwards following the grooves. Finally, cut the excess wire leaving a few mm to be bent back as it was originally. Refit the yellow cap and reinstall the bulbs inside the clock. Then, reinstall the clock into the dashboard.
