Instructions for Removing the Instrument Cluster

Model: Infiniti QX50 MK 1 - Years 2013-2017

To remove the instrument cluster, start by removing the cover located just below the steering wheel: it is secured with star screws at the bottom, on the pedal side, and with pressure clips at the top; also remove the trim shells of the indicator controls, unclip the plastic frame around the instrument cluster and unscrew the securing screws; then pull the instrument cluster forward and disconnect the connectors at the back to complete the removal. Usually, removing the instrument cluster is necessary to replace the backlighting bulbs.
