First, purchase a new cabin filter from an authorised dealer. Next, get inside the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake. The cabin filter on this vehicle is located behind the glove compartment, so open the glove box and remove all items from inside. Then, unscrew the two screws to remove the glove box. Once the glove box is removed, unscrew the four screws securing the glove box assembly; disconnect the light cable from the glove box and the airbag cable. Then, open the filter box by removing the metal clip and take out the filter element. Position the new filter according to the arrows on the filter itself.
