How to Change the Cabin Air Filter on the Infiniti J35

To change the cabin air filter on the Infiniti JX35, you need to access the compartment located at the bottom of the passenger side. Remove the plastic part on the left side of the passenger's feet, and from there you will see the filter compartment, which you can only access by removing the glove box. Proceed as follows: Remove the outer panel of the dashboard and unscrew the three screws visible once the glove box is open. Remove the bulb that lights up the glove box and take it out completely. At this point, it will come out entirely. Even though everything is open, the filter will still come out with some difficulty. Use compressed air to clean the compartment and try to insert the new filter, making sure the arrows point downwards. Now you can put the glove box back in place, starting with the bulb, closing the three screws, and repositioning the outer panel. Also, replace the cover on the passenger's footwell, and the job is complete.
