On the Isuzu D-Max and Holden Rodeo pick-up (essentially the same vehicle with different badges depending on the market), it is common for the 4x4 light to illuminate without an actual mechanical fault. Often, this is due to an electronic error or a false contact. The video shows a DIY reset of the 4x4 control unit, which is performed with the vehicle off, by pressing and holding the three buttons that control the 4x4 modes (2H, 4H, and 4L). Meanwhile, turn on the ignition and continue holding the buttons for about 30 seconds. This should reset the control unit and turn off the light.
