Let's see how to remedy an incomplete regeneration on an Iveco Daily, reported by the display and the warning light that has come on on the dashboard. The youtuber had decided to go to the mechanic to have a look at a vehicle that is used for work and therefore cannot afford to be stopped. However, on the way there, keeping the engine at around 2000/2300 rpm and going at a constant speed, the warning light went off. As the mechanic confirmed, the DPF cleaning procedure occurs approximately every 1500 km, but if it does not find the right conditions, it aborts the regeneration, which remains incomplete. When we hear the fan running for no apparent reason, we must continue the journey until we hear it turn off, because it means that the DPF is regenerating.
