Today we will explain how to reset the service light, related to the car service on a 2012 Jaguar XF model, independently. To reset the light after replacing the engine oil, we need to turn on the instrument panel and press the fog light button for three seconds to start the reset procedure. Wait for the reset to finish before restarting the instrument panel. If the light does not reset, go to the workshop for a computerized check using a scanner and OBD port. The issue may be related to a malfunction of the oil tank sensors.
