To change the engine oil of the Jaguar XF, lift the car with a jack to access the screws securing the front bumper after removing the right front wheel. Once these components are removed, locate the oil drain plug, which must be unscrewed to allow the oil to flow into a container.

After the oil has drained, close the plug and open the bonnet: in the engine bay, locate the filter that needs to be removed and replaced with a new one; there will also be a filler from which to top up with new oil.
