How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Jaguar X-Type

Before you can start, sit in the driver's seat of your Jaguar X-Type. Activate the instrument panel by turning the key in the ignition. Next, press and hold the button on the left indicator stalk for ten seconds, then turn off the instrument panel. After that, reactivate the instrument panel and press and hold the button near the light switch until the "Service" light goes out, successfully completing the reset.
