Replacing the battery of a Jaguar key/remote is a very simple task that can be done in a few steps and independently; notably, the same procedure can be performed on a Land Rover key. Start by extracting the emergency metal key from the remote by pressing the sides of the remote.

Once the key is removed, insert it into the internal part of the remote to open it. After opening, remove the worn battery and insert a new one. Finally, close the remote.
