How to Unlock the Automatic Gearbox of the Jaguar XF

Here’s how to unlock the automatic gearbox of the Jaguar XF: remove the cover plate located between the armrest and the cup holder by simply prising it off. Once the plate is removed, you will find a slot where it is sufficient to insert a coin and turn it counterclockwise by a quarter turn. Pull the red strap to rotate the lever towards the left seat. At this point, you will see that the gear position indicator shows "N", meaning the gear has been unlocked and you can proceed.
