Replacement of Rear Headlamp and LED Fault Check

Model: Jaguar Xf MK 1 - Years 2008-2015

If the LEDs inside the right rear headlamp blink when the lights are turned on, meaning some of them do not light up, you need to replace the headlamp. Open the boot and remove the plastic fasteners of the carpet covering to access the headlamp. Unscrew the fixing nuts, pull the headlamp from its housing, and reverse the process to install the new one. At this point, you can also dismantle the old headlamp to inspect it and diagnose the fault: you will find damaged LEDs which are fixed on a flat strip.
