The gear knob of a 2011 Jeep Wrangler consists of two outer parts and three inner parts. To remove the knob, first remove the lower part using a flat-head screwdriver, then take off the part indicated by the gears.

After removing the lower and upper parts, you can remove the first inner part, followed by the second inner part where the movement mechanism is located. Also remove the base, and if necessary, remove the entire mechanism by pulling upwards.

Reassembly follows the reverse procedure.
