To remove the gear knob of the Jeep Wrangler, you need to use a flat screwdriver. With this, detach the chrome cover located just below the gear knob. Once the cover has been removed, insert the screwdriver into the rivet that secures the knob to the lever. This needs to be widened as shown in the video to facilitate the removal of the knob. At this point, pull the knob with your hands to detach it from the gear lever. When the old knob has been removed, you can replace it with a new one.
