To reset the onboard computer on the Jeep Compass, turn on the ignition by inserting the key into its corresponding slot. Once the instrument cluster is powered on, select the "Setup" option on the screen in the centre of the dashboard.

In the subsequent screen, proceed by selecting "Restore default settings": a confirmation message will appear where you need to select "Yes" to ensure the warning light disappears completely from the instrument cluster.
