To reset the "Service" light on a Jeep Compass, start by turning on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to access the onboard computer menu.

Generally, the "Menu" button will allow you to navigate through the various sections available on the display. Once inside the menu, use the arrow buttons to find the option related to maintenance or service intervals.

When you reach the correct section, select the option to reset the maintenance interval. At this point, the system will ask you to confirm your choice.

Press the confirm button and hold it until the system confirms the operation is complete. The "Service" light will automatically turn off, indicating that the maintenance interval has been reset.

Once finished, turn off and then on the instrument cluster to check that the light does not come back on. If it does, repeat the procedure, ensuring that you follow each step carefully.
