How to reset the "Service" indicator on a Jeep Compass?

To reset the "Service" light on a Jeep Compass, start by turning on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to access the onboard computer menu. Generally, the "Menu" button will allow you to navigate through the various sections available on the display. Once inside the menu, use the arrow buttons to find the option related to maintenance or service intervals. When you reach the right section, select the option to reset the maintenance interval. At this point, the system will ask you to confirm your choice. Press the confirmation button and hold it down until the system confirms the operation is complete. The "Service" light will automatically turn off, indicating that the maintenance interval has been reset. Once finished, turn off and on the instrument panel to verify that the light no longer comes on. If it is still present, repeat the procedure making sure to follow each step carefully.
