How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Jeep Compass

Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your Jeep Compass. Begin by activating the instrument cluster. Within the first ten seconds of turning on the instrument cluster, press the accelerator pedal fully down three times. Once you have pressed the accelerator pedal three times, release it. At this point, turn off the instrument cluster. After completing this step, when you reactivate the instrument cluster, the "Service" light will be off, and you will have completed the reset.
