How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Jeep Compass

Before you begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Jeep Compass. Start by pressing and holding the brake pedal, then activate the instrument cluster by pressing the appropriate button.

While continuing to hold the brake pedal, press the accelerator pedal all the way down three times, then release both pedals. At this point, turn off the instrument cluster.

When you reactivate the instrumentation, the "Service" light will no longer be illuminated, and you will have successfully completed the reset.
