Replacing Front Brake Pads and Discs on Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

To replace the front brake discs and pads, start by lifting the vehicle and removing the front wheel. Since the discs need replacing, you can remove the caliper along with its bracket. Remove the screw that secures the disc to the hub bracket, then take off the old disc after applying some penetrating spray. It is recommended to brush and apply grease to the disc seat before installing the new one, securing it with the new screw provided. Replace the pads and the corresponding sliding plates in the caliper, and before reassembling everything, clean the disc with a suitable cleaner to remove protective oil.
