How to Change the Brake Pads on a Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

Remove the front brake pads from a Jeep Renegade. Lift the vehicle using a jack; raise it to a comfortable height for working. Unscrew the bolts with a socket spanner and remove the wheel. Then, begin unscrewing the bolts of the brake caliper to detach it from the bracket. Use a screwdriver to detach the brake pads. Install the new brake pads, tighten the caliper bracket to the disc, then refit the brake caliper, ensuring all bolts are securely tightened. Before refitting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper if necessary. Finally, refit the wheel with the bolts.
