In this video, you will see how to change the engine oil of the famous Jeep Renegade. First, lift the vehicle using a lift or (if you don’t have one) with a jack and remove the cover that conceals the engine oil drain plug.

Allow all the residual oil to drain completely (leave it for more than half an hour): after that, screw the plug back in, reattach the cover, and proceed to pour the new oil into the engine. It is very important to replace the oil filter, especially if you are using a type of mineral oil that may be less refined compared to synthetic oil. Perform this type of maintenance every 12,500 miles maximum.
