After replacing the engine oil on a Jeep Renegade vehicle, it is necessary to reset the warning light in order to update the mileage for the next oil change. To reset the oil warning light, we need to turn on the instrument panel and press the brake pedal while keeping it pressed, then press the accelerator pedal three times in a row. After that, we release both pedals and turn off the instrument panel.

Turn on the instrument panel to verify that the reset was successful, if not, it is necessary to go to the workshop for a computerized diagnosis. The reason for the failed reset could be due to a malfunction of the oil sensor.
