How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

Start by ensuring that the service has been completed, then sit in the driver's seat of your Jeep Renegade. Once seated, press the ignition button once to activate the instrument cluster. Next, using the selection button, choose the "Oil Change Required" option. At this point, press the accelerator pedal three times. Doing this will automatically turn off the "Service" light. When the "Service" light on your Jeep Renegade is off, you will have successfully completed the reset.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
