Learn how to remove the door trim panel on the Cherokee to access its interior or to replace it. Disconnect the battery's electrical connectors. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws located in the space of the upper door release lever and the screws under the handle. Remove the screws on the sides of the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Pull the panel away with your hands and detach it from the door (disconnect the wiring harness and the door release cable). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door or replace the panel or the switch panel, handle.
