How to Remove the Steering Wheel Airbag of a Jeep Cherokee

Before you can start, disconnect the vehicle's battery, then sit in the driver's seat of your Jeep Cherokee. Begin by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the lower cover of the steering wheel, then disengage and remove the cover itself. Next, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the airbag to the steering wheel. This will free the airbag itself. At this point, disengage and extract the airbag from the steering wheel, then disconnect the relevant electrical connectors, and you will have successfully finished the disassembly.
