How to Reset the "Change Engine Oil" Message on a Jeep Compass

In this video, see what to do if your Jeep Compass displays a change oil message. When it's time to change the oil, you will hear a beep and the message will briefly appear on the instrument cluster. The system is based on the work cycle, so the oil change interval may vary depending on your driving style. Until reset, the change oil message will continue to appear each time you turn on the ignition. For keyless vehicles, put it in park and press the ignition to the On/Run position. Then, fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly three times within 10 seconds, then turn off and restart the ignition.
