How to Replace the Battery in the Jeep Compass

Replacing your car's battery is not a very complex task, but it requires particular attention, especially regarding safety. Before proceeding to remove the old battery, ensure that the engine is off and preferably wear gloves. Next, disconnect the two terminals by unscrewing the bolts that hold them in place, and then remove the safety block located at the bottom. At this point, simply remove the old battery and place the new model in its position. Reconnect the two terminals starting with the negative (black) and then the positive (red). Finally, reattach the safety block.
