How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on the Jeep Compass

In this video tutorial, you can see how easy it is to replace the battery in the key fob for the Jeep Compass. Note: if the Jeep remote is not working, it may be due to a flat battery, so proceed as follows: take the key and start removing the cover plastics to change the battery in the Jeep Compass key. Be careful when using the screwdriver to avoid damaging the plastics of the key and injuring yourself. Take the Jeep key fob, slide the button to release the metal key. Hold the fob in one hand and use the other to insert the tool to pry at the side of the cover where the key sits. Pry until you detach the plastic cap covering the battery compartment. At this point, you can replace the battery with a working one, then reassemble the pieces in reverse order.
