To replace the key fob battery of the Jeep Compass, use a flathead screwdriver to lever inside the groove that forms between the two halves of the fob. Start by inserting it behind the key, moving the screwdriver around the perimeter of the fob. Once it is open, you can slide the battery out of its housing and replace it with a new spare part.

After the new battery is inserted into the housing, you can join the two halves of the fob, ensuring everything works correctly.
