How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on the Jeep Compass Mk1

This guide shows how to replace the battery of the key fob on the Jeep Compass Mk1. The first step is to locate a small recess on the side of the fob and insert a small flathead screwdriver to separate the two halves of the device. At this point, you can remove the rubber keypad and the integrated circuit; be careful not to damage anything. Replace the battery with a CR2032 button battery. Reassemble all previously detached parts and check the correct functioning of the fob.
