To do this, you will need a replacement CR2450 battery and a small flathead screwdriver. First, locate the slot on the top edge, right near the metal ring. Next, insert the tip of the screwdriver into the slot and, using leverage, unlock the cover. At this point, you can remove the old battery and insert the replacement, positioning it with the positive side facing up.
