If the oil warning light on your 2014 Jeep Patriot keeps coming on despite the oil being changed recently, you need to perform a manual reset. Here’s how. First, enter the cabin and ensure the ignition is off. Next, insert the key and turn it to the second position without starting the ignition.

Now, press the accelerator pedal five times in quick succession and turn on the ignition. Once the oil light goes off, the reset is successfully completed.
