If the engine oil light continues to come on on the instrument cluster of your 2014 Jeep Patriot despite having recently changed the oil, then you just need to perform a manual reset. Let's find out how. First, go inside the car and make sure the ignition is off. Then insert the key and turn it to the second position without starting the ignition. At this point, press the accelerator pedal five consecutive times and turn on the ignition. As soon as the oil light goes out, the reset is completed successfully.
