How to Reset the Service Light on the Jeep Compass

If you want to proceed with the engine oil and filter replacement on this vehicle, remember to reset the service light that will have illuminated on the instrument panel. To do this, follow the instructions and procedure outlined below. First, turn on the instrument panel and check if the oil change light is on. Press the accelerator pedal within 10 seconds. Turn off the instrument panel. After about 5 seconds, turn the panel back on and check if the light has turned off.
