How to Change the Cabin Filter on a Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

Replacing the cabin air filter is fairly straightforward, but since the air duct is located just behind the glove compartment, you will need to disassemble it. Open the passenger door and remove the triangular side cover of the dashboard to access the first screw securing the glove compartment. Unscrew the other screws located along the top closure line and those along the bottom edge. At this point, you can pull the glove compartment away from its housing and disconnect the courtesy light connector. Finally, remove the support bracket of the dashboard located right in front of the filter housing, take out the cap and the filter itself, insert the new one, and reassemble in reverse order.
