After changing the engine oil on the Jeep Renegade, you must reset the system that alerts you to this operation with a message on the dashboard. Sit in the driver's seat without touching any pedals.

Press the start button twice, then press the accelerator pedal three times, release it, and press the same pedal down fully three more times. Turn off and restart the vehicle to verify the service light has been reset.

If the warning still appears on the display, repeat the procedure from the beginning.
