A simple and quick job that will certainly help avoid unpleasant issues with the authorities. After removing the number plate, the number plate holder is secured with four bolts.

Unscrew them to lift it and access the cables behind it. Disconnect the connector attached to the back of the number plate holder and replace it with the new one. Reconnect the connector to the number plate holder and reposition it to secure it with its bolts.

Perform tests to ensure everything is in order and that the light turns on properly.
