Replacing Cabin, Reverse, and Number Plate Bulbs

Although this is a demonstration video on how to replace traditional bulbs with LED ones, the images will certainly be useful for anyone looking to simply replace a burnt-out bulb. The kit in this case is of the Canbus type to prevent flickering lights and error messages on the dashboard. Starting with the front interior light, use the appropriate tool to lever it out from one side and then the other, removing the transparent plastic cover. To extract the very small bulbs, it is advisable to use a piece of adhesive tape. For LED lights, always check if they light up; if not, rotate them, as this type of light requires polarity to be observed like in a battery. Refit the transparent plastic cover, noting the orientation of the tabs, as one side is horizontal and the other vertical. Now, move on to the central light. Leverage to lift the transparent cover from the switch side. Replace the bulb and close everything up. If you opted for an LED light, remember the polarity and a slight rotation of the bulb towards the centre of the cabin. For the reverse lights, you need to unscrew the two screws on the inner side of the lamp. Extract the optical unit and detach the bulb holder by turning it half a turn. Change the bulb and reassemble the component. For the number plate light, simply pinch the two tabs with your fingers to remove the holder and then rotate the bulb holder to access and change the bulb.
