Replacement and Maintenance of Transmission Lubricant

Model: Jeep Wrangler MK 3, JK - Years 2007-2018

First, lift your vehicle, preferably on a ramp; otherwise, suitable axle stands will suffice. Next, locate the transmission to unscrew the cap indicated in the video. Insert your finger to check the lubrication fluid level inside the transmission. If you need to replace the fluid, the cap to unscrew is located lower down, so unscrew it, collect the excess fluid, and reinstate it through the level check cap. Retrace your steps for reassembly.
