Removal of Car Radio and Air Vents

Model: Jeep Cherokee KJ, MK 3 - Years 2002-2007

Start by gently removing the air vents on either side of the car radio by pulling them with a plastic tool to avoid damaging the bodywork. Remove the trim and vents by pulling and disengaging them from the clips. Remove the screws from the dashboard and then the screws from the radio console. Carefully lift the car radio to allow for the removal of the connectors located at the back. After repairing the radio, refit it by reconnecting all the connectors and then place it back in its slot, taking care not to pinch any cables, and reattach the trim with the vents.
