Video tutorial

In this video, we will see how to replace the cruise control button on the steering wheel of the Kia Sportage MK3: we will need a few tools, a crosshead screwdriver, a plastic spatula, and a T40 Torx tip with an extension, which we will need to remove the screws on the outer sides of the steering wheel.

Here, the airbag module is removed, so we recommend disconnecting the battery for added safety.

We remove the two screws holding the right button module, and using the plastic spatula, we remove it from its housing. Disconnect the electrical connector.

We can find the new button, for example, on Ovoko. It with the code 967003W050EQ at a price of 20.00 euros + 1.99 euros for shipping.

We put it back in place, tighten the fixing screws, put back the airbag, and also put back the fixing screws for that, and there you go. All that's left is to reconnect the battery.
