How to replace the oil filter and engine oil of the 2018 Kia Sportage

Replacing the oil filter and engine oil on a 2018 Kia Sportage vehicle is a fairly simple operation to perform independently. We open the front hood and using a hex key, we remove the nut that secures the filter box in order to remove it from its seat and replace the filter. The filter box is located next to the air tube. After replacing the oil filter, we open the oil tank cap and lift the vehicle. We remove the vehicle cover to access the oil pan and unscrew the locking nut, allowing the used oil to drain into a container. We close the nut, mount the cover, and lower the vehicle so that the oil can overflow into the tank.
