In this video we can see how to reset, after changing it, the cabin air filter of the Kia Carens. The PuriFire filter - that's its name - is a very advanced filter, designed to filter fine particulate matter and dust, eliminate viruses and bacteria, reduce harmful gases, and neutralize odors: all these qualities come at a price: it costs about 3 times as much as a regular filter and has the code 97133-D5000. The filter is located behind the glove box, like a traditional cabin filter, but after replacement it is necessary to perform a reset, which resets the maintenance mileage counter, recalibrates the air quality sensors, and deactivates the warning light. We use the "setup" button to access the maintenance menu and hold down the button for 5 seconds until a notification appears on the display, confirming that the reset has been successfully completed.
