Here's how to adjust and check the tyre pressure on a Kia Sportage: the sticker with the recommended pressures from the manufacturer is located on the driver's door pillar, indicated in PSI (the value used in Anglo-Saxon countries) and in Bar (the value used in EU countries), specified for normal load and maximum load. Check the cold pressure by reading the value on the gauge. If the pressure is too low, connect the pump and inflate the tyre in short bursts; if it is too high, gently press the inner tip of the gauge on the valve stem to release air. On the Kia Sportage, the TPMS system resets automatically after correcting the pressures and driving for a few miles.
