This guide shows the steps to remove and clean the EGR valve of the Kia Sorento 2.2 CRDI. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and start disconnecting the intake hose and the air filter box. Then disconnect the electrical connector of the EGR valve, followed by unscrewing the fastening screws at the base to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, clean or replace the EGR valve with a new one, install it, and reconnect it; finally, reassemble the air filter components.
