How to Remove the EGR Valve from a Kia Sorento

Before starting, open the bonnet of your Kia Sorento. Begin by unclipping and moving the metal clips that secure the hoses around the exhaust manifold. Next, remove the exhaust manifold itself by unscrewing the relevant fixing bolts. This will give you access to the EGR valve. Proceed to unscrew and remove the bolts securing the EGR valve to the engine block, then disconnect the associated electrical connector. At this point, you will need to remove the EGR valve itself. Once you have completed this step, you will have finished the removal.
