How to Reset the Service Light on the Kia Soul?

Model: Kia Soul MK 1 - Years 2008-2014

You can completely clear the Service light on the Kia Soul by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch and turning it: this will allow you to press the accelerator pedal four times in a row to the floor. Once this operation has been completed, you can release the pedals and turn off the instrument cluster by turning the key back. When the instrument cluster is turned on again, you can check that the Service light has disappeared and that the oil replacement interval has been reset.
